Keeping All Survivors Safe Informed & Emancipated
The K.A.S.S.I.E.  Project is dedicated to serving as a healing outlet for all survivors of sexual and domestic abuse/violence who are striving towards and struggling with controlling how their past affects their journey into life after abuse.

Khrys & Mary J. Blige talk HEALING!
It's no secret that Mary J. is a SURVIVOR just like us... which is why I was so excited to share the project with her... Hear what she has to say.
To connect survivors with survivors who share the same desires and obstacles in their quest to have a successful ‘life after abuse’. A system designed  to provide a non-clinical, non-traditional and non-intimidating support network which gives each individual an opportunity to openly express themselves without being subjected to ridicule or judgment. The K.A.S.SI.E. Project initiates healing to assist individuals in moving from the 'victim' mentality onto the 'survivor' state of mind and into the life of a 'victor'.

What IS The K.A.S.S.I.E Project
KEEPING ALL SURVIVORS SAFE INFORMED & EMANCIPATED is what the K.A.S.S.I.E. Project stands for.. HOWEVER this is a UNIQUE approach to healing for ALL survivors of sexual & domestic abuse. Please watch....
Our movement -  to Share… Heal… Live…. Is what I believe to be the formula to leaving a traumatic past behind.
  • During survivors will be exposed to an opportunity to express themselves without being subjected to judgment or ridicule.
  • Unlike many other Domestic Violence events/sessions, survivors will be presented with an opportunity to hear and understand the re-formed ‘abusers’ standpoint which will also assist in (this is done through video-vignettes).
  •  During our Share… Heal… Live …events, artists present dramatic pieces directed to the challenges and situations survivors face.
  • Survivors will also be invited to share through the arts (i.e. story telling, poetry, song or whatever creative outlet they use to heal) even if they just choose to simply share
It’s my belief that on the road to recovery there are necessary things every survivor must strive for and achieve:
  • Stop Blaming Self - Take responsibility for and future choices.
  • Stop Isolating — Connect with others and build a support network.
  • Stop denying and minimizing feelings - Learn to understand and express honestly in a healthy, supportive environment.
